You should be able to uninstall NET Framework via:
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and scrolling down the list
until you see the
program, click on it and then click "Remove" button
Once you uninstall NET Framework, the installation process may also delete the
ASP NET limited user
account that was created so you should just have your own account at starup
again, which will solve
your problem. If not, just log on as yourself (Administrator), at startup and
then
Start>Settings>Control Panel>User Accounts, click on the ASP NET account and
select "Delete the
account". I do not think this will cause any problems but you always have the
"System Restore"
option as back up.
I must say that I find it annoying that a program can create it's own user
account, albeit limited.

I have Windows XP Home, and I don't know how to uninstall .NET Framework.
If this is something that must be done in the registry, then I think I'd
rather not mess with it, since I don't know anything about the registry and
I might really mess things up. :)
All I really want to do is get that blue login screen off my computer, and
I'm pretty sure that's occurring because of the ASP.NET account in User
Accounts. When I go into User Accounts, all that's there is my account and
the ASP.NET account, and it says it is a Limited Account and is Password
Protected. When I click on that account it gives me options as Computer
Administrator, including Delete the Account. So if I delete the account, I
might cause myself more problems than just having the blue login screen? Is
there any way then to get around the blue login screen and just be able to
start my computer and have it go directly to my desktop? This is a minor
inconvenience in having to "login" each time I start the computer and one
that I can live with rather than causing worse problems if I delete
something I shouldn't, but if I can get rid of it safely, I sure would like
to!
