Hi again, my home was burglerized and my computer was stolen so I built me another computer. But the computer I now have is a DELL Optiplex GX110 with XP. I installed 2 256 RAM sticks but it is only reading 412, when it boots it decreases the memrory, my question is why does it do this? The OS is on a FAT32. Does the FAT32 have anything to do with the memory decrease? The reason it is on a FAT32 is because I had to use the W98 to re-format the hard drive and when I installed the XP it did not ask me to switch over to the NTSF. So I got stuck with the FAT32. I had the same RAM sticks in another computer and it read fine. How can I fix this?
