I don't think so unless you open the attachment and then save contents somewhere else. Most of the attached images that I receive become part of the message unless it is too large or for some other reason does NOT became part of the message. I have reveiving html messages truned off so usually any attachments are listed in a separate line below the subject. To view them I can click that line, but I never do so unless I know that sender.
