Thanks Emile you are correct. My sent mail is stored in a folder on my
PC so if I open the mail in that folder and look at its properties it
of course tells me the total size. Similarly saving it to the desktop
produced the same result.

I am not sure that I would like my emails to be saved only by my
server but that's AOL for you, Always Off Line ;-))
