He might just as well have said, 'That's life!' Computers even when not malfunctioning sometimes do unexplained things, at least not explained by most users and even many IT pros. Bring in the malfunction factor and you have many things that are not worth digging into unless you enjoy headaches. I have an electrical problem going on now that first looked like it was being caused by my three computers drawing too much power. I had replaced my UPS, uninterruptable power source, because I thought that was going bad. Looks like maybe it wasnt'. Anyway, I next replaced a single circuit breaker that had two wires on it, definitely against the electrical code, so I replaced the single breaker with a double, and moved each wire to it's own breaker. At first that seemed to solve the problem, which was lights flickering without taking out breakers. But the problem persists. I may have to have the breaker box replaced, very big deal and probably very expensive. And that will require an city permit and all that jazz. Jim I do have a question you might have an > answer to.
