Most of the time I do like Christopher mentioned except that I usually 
copy data files to the new My Computer. That way your install is clean 
and runs faster.

If you have installed an operating system on the new drive c:, you only 
need to drag and drop your data files.

If there is no system on the new disk, you need a program like Ghost to 
copy the entire partition.
