Depending on the number of files involved the simplest approach is to just drag n drop the files from one drive to the other. However, I have found that the more files that are involved, especially when folders containing sub folders are involved errors can happen. So I use a free program from Karen Kentworthy's free program called replicator. http://www.karenware.com/powertools.asp The above link will take you to her list of power tools. I have them all, I use three of them nearly every day. They are the replicator, profiler and show stopper. Replicator does the copying. You open the program and select, Edit Settings, then new job. There is a place for the name of the job, then a line for the path to the source files and the next one to the destination. The source in your case might look like: e:\foldername Destination would be c:\ You don't need to repeat the folder name, the whole folder will be copied. I thend to keep the number of files that I copy farly small to reduce errors.
