What exactly happens when you turn the computer on? Black screen? Did they both go out at the same time> (quite a coincidence) What about the monitor? Why not take it to a small shop where they have the testing equipment for the mother board or CPU.. I don't know where you are but here (Holland) It takes about one minute & no charge for the test & if you need a new mother board it is about $25. + $10 to put it in. good luck..
