Can I assume that you have built your own systems? If not have you ever had 
any video? Do these mother boards have on board video in addition to video 
card slots, if so they may be set to get video from the on board video 
'card'. The manual for the board should explain how to switch to the video 
card, it may be a 'dip' switch on the mother board that does this or perhaps 
a bios setting.

That seems unlikely on two mother boards.

Don't jump the gun.  Contact ASUS, either on their site or get a phone 
number.

I always follow the general rule that two devices of the same type seldom go 
bad at the seame time.
