When you say '3 out of 4', do you mean, that, three printers have
already died? If you do not mean that, then, you need check to see if
the printer's network capability went off-line while, still being
available locally.

I am saying this because, when I worked for the U.S. Government
Jun.'91-Dec.'94(I worked for the U.S. Government Jun.'91-Oct.'95), prior
to an office transfer, I had a desk that had a networked printer. The
people(there were at least three networked printers in the office)
assigned to print at that printer, could not print until I turned on the
printer at my desk. If the network went down, I could still print
locally. The way network software is done, you need to make sure, the
respective workstations originally given 'Rights' to print to that
printer, still have them.
