Hi Phyllis,

I don't know anything about cross over cables and home networking, but a
search came up with this

http://www.homenethelp.com/web/explain/about-ethernet-crossover.asp

or

the google search...

Maybe someone else here can be of more help than I?

Debbie

I'd say that a better solution is to get rid of your PC Tech. :-)
The thing is that if 'your tech' has too many things he can't handle maybe
he just doesn't know enough. Do you get to not pay him when he can't solve a

problem. I have never been impressed with IT Pros. My experience with them
is admittedly limited, but the ones I have known, except for one local guy
were as impressive as the old TV repair guys. Maybe Japan's taking over the
TV mfg. industry is a good thing, making TV sets that you keep until you
want to upgrade. No need for repair guys. :-)
