Basic RR cable is about 5 Mb/s. That's mega bits, not bytes. Internet is
usually rated in bits/sec since it is seriel not parallel. Some of the ISPs
seem to be trying to imply that their dialup is really fast, but I don't
believe them. I would say that if they don't call it DSL then it's just dial
up.
