Dragonfly, the clock lost two hours--exactly. 

I unconnected and reconnected the floppy drive cables when I put the 
new hard drive in (which is now disconnected for the moment). The 
floppy drive does not recognize ANY disks. I get "Please insert a disk 
in drive A". Same as if you try to access A and there's no disk in it. 
I've tried old disks and brand new disks.

I know I probably need to replace the CMOS battery. But I think there 
are other problems going on. Just came on suddenly too.
