Hi Catrina,
I suspect you mean that My Computer and My Documents are stuck in your
Quick Launch bar which is a Toolbar immediately to the right of your
Start button. There's no harm in having them there, they give you quick
access to My Computer and My Documents by clicking once on them.
However, if you want to remove them then just right click on the
relevant icons in the Quick Launch bar and then click on Delete. This
will get rid of them.
