Ecept that when you have too many items most get hidden and having them
there is not much more convenient than when they are on the desktop. I have
four items on the Quick Launch bar, 'show desktop', 'OE', 'IE', 'Word Pad'.
But these are shortcuts of course and deleting them won't hurt anythihng,
You can delete them or drag them off the Quick Launch bar.
