It varies with the brand of bios. F2 is one key, DEL is used  
sometimes. Often there's a screen message that says what key to type  
to go into setup.

The external? That should not be C unless your C drive or partition is  
not there, in which case you would not be saying that your computer  
saw it. That C must be the internal hard drive. Maybe the E drive  
showing is the external.

Try clicking the camera icon. It might be the external. I am not  
certain that the external will show in the bios. The USB hardware  
will, not sure about the drive.
