There are always Options or Preferences in MS and other software.

In Firefox Options are found in the Tools menu.

When the dialog opens click the Tab, tab and choose if you want a new window
to open or new tab to open when you clicks links in a web site.

In the Content tab you can check or uncheck the pop up blocker.

In the Security tab you may need to look at the Tell me lines.

The back arrow is green in FF and the forward arrow grey. Beside the
forward arrow is a drop arrow that will give you a list of pages visited on
that site and if you click one it takes you there.

Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] annoying problem

Good morning from Pam in GA.

Since getting my new computer with Vista, I have an annoying problem

That I don't remember having at all on my old computer. I use Firefox

And Thunderbird.

The only way I know to explain it will sound so dumb, but here goes anyway!!

There are several sites I visit daily, blogs. A funeral home, local

town's website, etc. Once I click on a second page of these sites, the

Back button is grayed out and all I can do is close out the site, and I

Am taken back to my homepage. Is there ANYTHING I have set

Incorrectly or a fix for this? I have been through the Firefox forums

And others have this problem, but no fixes that I can find at this time.

As usual, thank you so very much!

Pam in GA.
