I feel like a dinosaur now! I have been using M$ products since 3.1 and the recurring theme with them is that after every rollout they get hacked and several security flaws get pointed out. They always change a couple of important things and the new way ends up having bugs. After a while they get most of the kinks worked out and from there there is always a string of patches for the life of the product. I always wait for more than a year when they roll out a new product to let someone else find the bugs and security flaws. Vista is about to that point now that the initial problems have been addressed.
Good luck with that --- On Sun, 9/28/08, jpurcell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: jpurcell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [A-1-Computer_Tech] Re: best processor to run XP OS To: [email protected] Date: Sunday, September 28, 2008, 12:38 PM Ian, > Some say Vista is difficult but that is not true if you use it > properly. > You can partition a drive and put two on or install another hard > drive, > Ian I assume that you mean that you can put two OSs on the hard drive. That is true of most computers today. As for Vista being difficult, I suppose any new OS that has made functional changes will be difficult. Some things that I don't do often and have been changed are sometimes tricky to figure out.
