There is nothing built into the system that knows all the hardware you may
or may not install, attach or otherwise use. It has nothing whatever to do
with what was allowed, it just would be impossible.



Yes I was sticking up for you. Telling you to ignore what you see and just
delete is in my view gross ignorance of consequences.

I assume that you are speaking up for me. Unfortunately all I wanted 

Was to stop the start up window that says that I have unidentified 

Hardware. And I expressed my frustration that such messages are so 

Stupid that they can't tell what the hardware is. It strikes me that 

Maybe the accountants wouldn't allow the programmer to go that far. 

This way they get one size fits all. :-(
