I had the same problem and I took my old hard drive and made it the slave of the new hard drive that way I still had all my data that I needed but I also had more storage space with the two hard drives.

I have a new computer and have installed the old hardrive in the new computer. I need to move everything over to the new hardrive from the old one. They both have win xp. There is nothing on the new drive that I need. The question is, what is the best way to accomplish my goal. I tied moving a minor program from old to new and tried to run the .exe but it didn't work.
