Ken, check your Filters that your ISP gave you, you might want to switch them. It worked for me! Meanwhile, you might want to try OpenDNS. I have been using this with no dropped service. Installing OpenDNS is so simple that even your mom can do it. Simply click on the Computer or Router option, and follow the on-screen instructions. I recommend the option of setting up a free account. You'll get a "Dashboard" whereby the DNS settings can be configured and fine- tuned to suit your needs. The important thing to remember is that OpenDNS is safe, reliable and will not break your network. With OpenDNS you do not need to worry about downloading or installing software. To use OpenDNS, you merely choose to use our DNS servers (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) instead of those assigned by your ISP or pointing directly to the root servers. With no new software, trying OpenDNS is a no-risk opportunity to improve your network experience. Here is a quote: <<"I started using OpenDNS when my ISP began having reliability problems. I wanted something that is more reliable and more secure. With my ISP's DNS, there were times when I couldn't get to Web sites I wanted to visit, and now with OpenDNS I can get to any Web site I want, whenever I want. I also love OpenDNS's filtering options and its anti-phishing service.">> Taking a few minutes to unbundle your DNS service from your ISP's Internet connection means a safer, faster, smarter and more reliable Internet experience for everyone in your household. *Click on the Link below to view. http://www.opendns.com/homenetwork/solutions Thank you, Ivan [Lucid Geek]
