I use a thumb ball mouse on my desktop but a wireless mouse on my laptop
because I hate those touch pads. My laptop uses wireless from the router
that of course has WAP protection but the DTs use Ethernet cables.

Wireless is not insecure if you use WAP or stronger protection.

Cindi,

No wires! :-) What are we talking about, a mouse or internet
connection? What?
I have a cordless mouse because even the tiny amount of pull by the
mouse cord is to me too much.
Wireless internet is handy when you're using a notebook computer, but
it is of no benefit that I can see for a desktop. And wireless
internet is less secure if you don't use encryption.
