Linux is not for experts. You need to get onto a Ubuntu or other version
list to see the amount of people who use it instead of windows.

I wouldn't recommend it at home to be honest if you don't have much
computer experience, unless you have specific requirements i.e. the
software you need only works in Linux, and not Windows.

I work for an Astronomy research group, and all of the software we need to
use will only work on Linux (or MacOS).
