Mark,

Occasionally we do. And quite often I don't.

I have never asked for help directly from Apple. And I have a
difficult time finding information that I need from help files, most
help files. I have trouble figuring out how to get the help file to
show what I need. When I enter a phrase it only rarely get anything of
values. And lots of stuff that has nothing to do with what I entered.
As I said, I have the same problem no matter which program or platform
I am dealing with, that may say more about me that about the writers
of help files.

There are different kinds of user friendliness I think. If one has
spent years using one platform another one may not seem very users
friendly. And I tend to hate when an OS seems to be different just to
be different.

Yes, but that is about the programs written for that purpose isn't it.
Steve doesn't want his OS running on another machine but has no
problem with Windows on his machine.

The fact is that I don't do much real computing on either my PCs or my
Macs. No ones fault, just the way I am. I have never even tried to
burn an optical disk on my Mac since it is so easy on my PC.
