Yes, I have found their support to be excellent. A couple of weeks ago I 
came across a problem I couldn't solve - they had me trying things and 
eventually we solved the problem after about half an hour. I know many 
companies who would have given up and just shipped out a replacement (or 
not....). I've only been using a MacBook for a few months but it was so 
easy to use I picked the main features up straightaway - there is probably 
heaps I don't yet know about....

Yes they are. I suppose the only reason Windows gets hit by so many 
viruses is because it is so widely used, and the writers want to cause as 
much destruction as possible. Although having said that, Macs are becoming 
ever more popular so perhaps this trend will change. But for the time 
being, you're a lot safer with a Mac.

Yes they are.

Apple is the company, the 'Mac' is a computer product (and short for 
Macintosh).

Again it all depends on what software you need to run and what hardware 
you need to drive, but I would highly recommend Apple computers. Even the 
Microsoft Office Suite is available for Mac, and newer than the current 
Windows version (2008) ;-)
