Ray I enjoyed reading your comparisons a lot, Only a few comments to add.
Could I suggest a plain background or different text color as it is hard to read without resizing the text :-) Linux and the free source software world is not attacked by virus makers so much because it is free. MS on the other hand is a legitimate target if you hate big business and monopolies. When you get onto the use of the command line use and root permission is when lots of users eyes dim over. Its still a challenge to many beginners and experienced people alike. Thank goodness most of the time you simply do not have to use it, much like DOS in windows.
