Well, their website says that they still "do" sell systems with XP 
installed.  Take a look here:

It may be that it's only with certain systems.  They call them Windows 
Vista Bonus Systems - they come with both operating systems, but XP is 
installed.  If you ever want to go to upgrade to Vista the DVD is 
included (or maybe it's on a Hard Drive partition.)
I would tell them about this and try to insist that you want XP 
installed.  It might not work, but it's worth a try.
