That may be so but my personal experiences is that sound quality of speakers seldom justifies the cost beyond $50. And the original poster seems unlikely to notice the difference. Hi: As I said "rule of thumb", but, you gotta be kidding, no? I'm 73, half deaf, and I can still tell the difference. When I was younger I represented Sony, and when I did an arena show, I could bring the whole arena crowd to my Sony booth with a good set of speakers. One year we had 2 speaker enclosures sent special from Japan and it took 4 men each to carry them. WOW, never heard the like since. Well whatever turns one's crank I guess.
