True, but it is important to back up important files. So I would say that whatever it takes you need to obtain some kind of device to save your files. I would say that burning drive is the least expensive option. Tiger Direct often has pretty good prices on these drives. Will there be any cost if you lose those 20000 files. Personally I would cull them, what ever you do.
