There are 3rd party companies that sell compatible power supplies for many devices including your Seagate. Google "freeagent external drive power supply" or search it on Ebay. You could maybe find a universal, generic power supply from Radio Shack or other place that meets the exact same output specs. Dunno anything about the pins.
