Hi Janice -
If you have a working home network between your netbook and your PC, you
might be able to put your Office disks in your PC's drive, then access
the PC drive from your netbook, and install office that way.

Or, it may be simpler to just use a thumb drive if you've already got
one. I dunno what version of Windows you have, but here are the basic
steps:
1. insert your thumb drive on the PC.
2. insert your Office disk. If an installation window automatically
pops up, just cancel or close it.
3. Go to Start, My Computer (in Vista and Win7 it'll just be Computer).
You should see a list of the drives on your computer.
4. Right-click on your CD/DVD drive, and choose Explore from the popup menu.
5. This should open a window showing all the folders/files on the disk.
Go to the Edit menu and choose Select All.
6. Now go back to the Edit menu and click Copy.
7. Now you want to access your thumb drive, so go back to Start, My
Computer, and double-click your thumb drive (might be called Removable
Drive).
8. Now you should be at a window showing the contents of the thumb drive
(if any).
9. Go to the Edit menu and click Paste.
10. It will begin copying all the files from the CD/DVD onto your thumb
drive. Might take a few minutes.
11. After the copying is done you simply need to plug the thumb drive
into your netbook, go to Start, My Computer, and double-click the thumb
drive.
12 You'll see a window showing the contents of the thumb drive. You are
looking for a file called SETUP.EXE. If you don't see it, it might be
inside a folder.
13. All you have to do is double click this SETUP.EXE file to start the
Office Installation.

That should do it. Repost if there's a problem.
Good luck,
Donk
