I mean as you are describing. I tried what you said, but funny enough I do not 
have a choice for English. There are some which refer to Western and Universal 
?? Nothing that relates to English, unless I'd actually have to be on the email 
message which is in a different language to have the English option? I'll try 
that next !

I don't think you mean "translate"? Do you mean you want your emails 
encoded into the English alphabet?
Open your Yahoo mail, look at the toolbar and click on "Actions".
Choose "Set Language Encoding", and choose English.

If you really do want a translator, there are many available online, but 
none that will auto-translate your Yahoo email (that I know of).
