I have no manuals or spec sheets except for what I got online. My laptop is by no means new, it has 2 slots with 2 gb max, up to 2x1. It will not work with 2 gb stick, tried that a few years ago. Calls for 4200 but the 6400 should work as ram is backwards as long as it's the right type. My question is does the -555 make it incompatible or did I just get bad ram? I did see it's not the data rate or MHz but beyond that I don't follow. Does it have any bearing on working in my setup. Surprised I did not look to Wiki as it gets a lot of use from me but this is all kind of "geek" to me
