It is unlikely that abc2ps will implement anything in the short term
because Michael Methfessel seems to have stopped developing that
program as far as I can tell. Perhaps someone will come along and
be prepared to merge all the branches of abc2ps and variants into
one and act as abc2ps maintainer - I think this was one of the ideas
of the sourceforge project. It hasn't happened yet though.
