This is a nice example of synchronicity. I just downloaded denemo a
couple of days ago, and subscribed to the mailing list in time to see
some discussion of your patch to export ABC.

But doesn't import my lilypond.

I suppose this is really a topic for another list, but does it handle
lyrics at all? I can't see using it for my purposes if it doesn't --
I can touch type the notes in ABC, and could presumably learn to do it
in lilypond. My "data-entry" problems that I'd really like a GUI for
have to do with lining up the notes and music right.

So when the patch gets released you should make sure it gets put on
the list of ABC applications on the ABC home page.

When the lilypond import gets better, this would be a good way to get
a lilypond to ABC converter. Has anyone done any work on getting
import or export of PMX or MusiXTeX?
