So maybe the difference between [1] http://www.vicfirth.com/education/features/webrhythms/18.html and [2] the ABC standard, is just that [1] takes as unit of counting the base note of the tuplet (8ths in this case), while [2] takes as unit of counting the base note of the measure (4ths)?
