I hadn't thought of that. Commenting out part of an abc tune by placing % at the beginning of each line is a useful debugging technique. Anyway, I think we've moved on from that position, and the developing standard now allows 1. (or am I confused?) >Commenting-out could well introduce pseudo-pseudo-comments.
