Christian Marcus Cepel wrote in part:

I recall long ago a history of music in America course in college in which we discussed a hymnbook which served as the basis for most hymnals here in America. >... it was called The Bay SomethingOrOther Hymnbook ...
I'm wondering, if anyone has endeavored to transfer it to an ABC project.>>

Selections of lyrics from the Bay Psalm Book can be found here:

Applewood Books, publishers of very attractive reprints of the original Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, and Tom Swift books [[1]] _inter alia_, has also reprinted the Bay Psalm Book for $5.00 (!):

An entry with rather severe comments on the work's artistic merits can be found on-line in Schaff-Herzog at CCEL:

The only Google hit for a distinctive phrase from Ps. 1 ("in chayre of scornfull folk") is the site linked first above, so if there's an abc archive of the book it either doesn't include the words (or possibly just not Ps. 1, which however seems an obvious choice even for a selection) or Google doesn't know of it.
