Sounds like a good project for somebody so inclined.
Quite a few of those Anglican Hymns are older folk melodies with newer words
attached. It might be amusing to hear people singing the original words
instead.  :-)   Several other hymns have tunes 'pinched' from the classical
repertoire. I guess someone could just take the easy way out and go straight
to the original.
