I'm of the firm belief that giant disabled people organisations which have planned demonstrations on disability day tomorrow in delhi should hold bigger protests in several states capital. Afterall disability is a state subject however they are mad at seeking media attention in the capital. If I name a few, states such as Bihar, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have cheated disabled people to the max. The biggest failure of the disability activists and organisations in India over the last two decades has been their pre-occupation with Delhi which is yet to formulate its state policy on disability. We need to introspect seriously, very seriously...!
