The visually impaired students of Devnar Foundation for the Blind
mesmerised the audience with their varied cultural performances during the
24th Annual Day celebrations of the organisation held in Begumpet on
Thursday. The highlight of the event was the dance performance on popular
Telugu and Hindi numbers by the children. Other activities performed by the
children include a fashion show and a skit. In his keynote address, A
Saibaba Goud, founder of Devnar Foundation, said, “What started in a rented
building with four blind children is now running with a strength of

 Xavier’s Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC), St. Xavier’s
College, Mumbai (www.xrcvc.org) to tell you about our upcoming awareness
and sensitization event on lives of persons with blindness and low
vision: *Antarchakshu ® -
The Eye Within 2016 at Gurgaon. *Venue: Epicentre at Apparel House,
Sector-44, Institutional Area, Gurgaon. Date: 25 and 26 February 2016
Thursday / Friday Time: 11 am to 7 pm (The event will take you
approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to go through the complete experience.)  You

There is one post for Visually Impaired as Semi Skilled Machinist in Ministry of
 Defence,  Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
Qualification: Matriculation + NAC/NTC issued by NCVT. Diploma in
Engineering without possessing NAC/NTC can not be accepted as qualification
for direct recruitment. Age Limit upto  42 years. Language for written
test/trade test: Hindi/English as per choice indicated by the candidate in
the application form. Applications should be addressed to the General
