Hi, Both of you are not entirely correct. The previous version of eloquence addon that worked with NVDA versions older than 2019.3, was not cracked/ pirated in any way, but was not authorised by Nuance or nvda either. It was developed by an anonymous person because talks by the NVDA team had failed to acquire the licence to it, as NVDA would then need to charge its users per copy of nvda downloaded and used with eloquence as demanded by Nuance. Codefactory later on started selling a version of eloquence which doesn't work if you aren't connected to the internet so would be money down the drain, specially for people in india, where internet connectivity isn't exactly great. The current version of the eloquence Addon is even more cleaner and avoids those grey areas as its just the IBM driver, and people need to source the copy of the eloquence synths themselves from something like the older version of the addon, cursvale etc etc. So whilst the statement that cracked software can not be used with nvda as it's open sourced is incorrect (have seen a few around), The eloquence addon that works with 2019.2 and older wasn't exactly piracy either.
