Hi all, I am going to join Genpact india in a short period of time. I have few questions on mind regarding accessibility issues at workplace. Need some expert guidance on this. 1. As this is my first job, I am not sure how much demanding I should be. Ex: my work would be mostly on data. Should I ask for jaws or can i simply use freely available nvda? 2. I found that the company app for employee support is not at all accessible. How should I approach this? Should I ask them straight away? Or should I wait and watch? For now I took sighted help for documentation. But don't know how things can work in future. 3. The main point here is that even though corporates like these have many policies in place related to accessibility and inclusion I don't know how far they go in reality. And how demanding we can be for our rights being freshers.
