Hi Kriya,

Congratulations for your first job!

I will try to address your queries one by one as per my experience. When I
joined my current job which is also my first job I had no visual challenges
but got one after 4 years of work.

JAWS vs NVDA:
My mind tends to assume with this that you're fairly comfortable using JAWS
over NVDA. This is something you can ask your HR and reporting manager
about. In case they do not have an idea try to reach out to D&I (Diversity
& Inclusion) for an answer.
It is also worth noting that many of the enterprise softwares are now built
keeping NVDA in mind and thus work better with NVDA over JAWS.
If your day to day softwares work well with NVDA and you're comfortable
using it, then it shouldn't be a major challenge.

Regarding the inaccessibility for internal apps.
This is a major pain point across all the organizations, I repeat, all the
organizations. No matter how good their public facing services are the
internal apps remain a pain point in some way or the other.
You can again reach out to D&I with a list of major issues you face with
most essential apps. Generally this particular team is eager to help but is
unable to draw funds to budget projects as the leadership is not really
convinced, projecting numbers and pin-pointed challenges and maybe a
business case of some kind do help.

You caan discuss your major challenges with your reporting manager and it
should be his/her duty to provide reasonable accommodation to you in the
meantime.

In corporate people will be ready to help you, you should focus on your
work and produce good results and the path should be smoother.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks,
Vaibhav
