Banks should recognise that customers like us exist in good numbers and our access has to be mandatory. We should not be looking at work arounds or some kind of jugad. We pay taxes. The bank is a service provider and all communication between the bank and us have to be accessible.

SBI also allows its account holders to download statement in MS Excel format inside net banking. Statement of SBI Cards can be viewed in accessible form after logging to its portal. However, logging to SBI Cards portal is quite cumbersome. Similarly, transaction listings for HSBC credit card can be viewed in accessible format inside its iOS app. However, pdf provide by HSBC Bank are not accessible.
