I don't know about other schools in this very hole country. But, in Delhi,
mayur vihar, there is a school called salwan public school. If you want to
see inclusive education in action, just visit there. (I have done my
education from there). Me, as an alumni, and other teachers, are always
there to support the current or future students. Moreover, where other
schools tries to just send disability to a background. Our school, has
constantly made an efforts to bring it to the moast forefront.
Wether its organising inclusive marathons, or doing awareness workshops
among the normal kids, we have done it countless times, and we strive to do
it regularly. Yes, there may be things, which we may or may not be awair.
But, we are open to learn every day.
Now, for those who may think I am just overexaggerating things, then I am
so sorry its your folly.
If you want to know about my experiences in this school, please WhatSapp me
on my personal number.
this is mainly for cairgivers and parents if you are strugling to get your
school in a inclusive school, please, visit Salwan public school.
and, if possible, I would like organisations like score foundations, radio
udan, and NAB or any other organisations to uplift these kind of schools.
with best regards,
Udit.
