Dear Friends, I am writing to this esteemed group of professionals to seek expert guidance on a serious professional matter. For seven years, I was engaged as a consultant with Hindustan Zinc Ltd. for their flagship CSR project, "Jeevan Tarang," focused on disability inclusion. After my engagement concluded, I made a formal request for a standard 'Work Completion Certificate'. Unfortunately, the matter has been pending for over a month now. I have exhausted all levels of communication within the company, escalating the issue systematically up to the CEO and the Head of HR. Following this escalation, I received a clear and direct written commitment from the Head of CSR, assuring me that the certificate would be sent "shortorty". It has now been several weeks since that final assurance was given, and there has been a complete silence from the company. The certificate has not been issued. My question to all of you is: What are the standard professional and legal avenues available when a large corporate entity fails to issue such a critical document, even after repeated commitments from its senior leadership? Your guidance on the appropriate and most effective next steps would be invaluable. Thank you for your time and consideration.
