Hello, Employees State Insurance Corporation recently advertised in the latest Employment News a job notice for recruiting about 100 LDCs. In case of reserved posts for vh candidates, they have specified that only persons having visual disability from 40% to 74% can apply. If I remember correctly, there was a protest in Maharashtra against such discrimination between low vision people and the totally blind people. I would like to know if we can do anything about it. This Corporation is under the Labour and Employment department of the Central Government.
