I am glad your problem is over. We must all understand that we need good 
laws  and we need to be vigil to ensure that they are implemented. You took 
immediate action by writing to this group and I could follow it up 
immediately, the RBI did its job and ICICI responded so you have a happy 
situation in 12 days.
this does not always happen. We have to follow up and fight for our rights.

There are thousands of Bank officials in the country and every one of them 
has his own opinion. We should not think that by just having good circulars 
we can make these officials understand the situation. Once we are armed with 
the circulars we should be ready to cajole, convince and change them and 
their mindsets. We need to be alert and ready to stand up for ourselves.
Did you write to the Delhi ombudsman?
