Thanks a lot pranav sir.
Well, I am extremely sorry someone has told me to lookup on canon's website, I am not finding the original mail. But in response to that, I would like to tell that this was my first step even before asking on AI. But I couldn't see my drivers for said version. But the sender has also said that they are slowly uploading so I'll have another look now. Anyways, I would like to tell you that my problem has solved. It is compateble. Just for information, anyone wanting to anything's compatibility (Hardware/software), can go and have a look on 'Windows 7's compatibility center page on MS Website'.
Google for link..
Thanks to all for good guidance.
Thanks,
Amar Jain.

Hi Amar,

Merry Christmas to you too. As far as I can tell, ABBYY Fine Reader has a
single installer for 32 and 64 bit windows. I expect to upgrade to windows 7
in January so will be able to give you a better answer on Fine Reader's
compatibility with Windows 7.

Your laptop's configuration is adequate unless you want to do video editing
or play some really graphics intensive games.
